Bourbon County may be the most compelling value in our surrounding area as our average home prices are 34% less than Fayette County (Lexington), and at least 19% lower than any county surrounding Lexington. Property tax rates per capita in Kentucky rank 3rd lowest in the US (see sources below). In Bourbon County your real estate dollar goes farther, and your cost of ownership and utilities, all totaled, will be the lowest in the country.
